Terms of Use
These terms apply to your access to and use of the Shadowrocket Config Guide · Official Manual, including its pages, documentation and configuration examples. This is the official Shadowrocket website and manual, providing guidance on verifying the genuine app, purchasing it and configuring it. Please read these terms before using the content. If you do not agree, stop using it.
1. Scope and Information Sources
This documentation explains app features and how to use them. It does not guarantee results for any particular network environment, connection or use case. The app interface, features and system requirements may change. Always refer to the App Store listing for system requirements and to the interface shown on your device for current instructions.
Domains and configurations in our examples illustrate syntax only; they are not service credentials you can use as-is. Check whether an example applies to your situation before changing your settings. Documentation cannot replace an assessment of your actual network environment.
2. App Availability and Purchase Terms
Shadowrocket is a paid commercial app for Apple platforms, primarily used on iPhone and iPad, and is available exclusively through the App Store. Before purchasing, check the guide to verifying the genuine app to confirm the developer, Shadow Launch Technology Limited, the official icon and app ID 932747118.
A one-time app purchase is not a network service plan. Purchasing the app does not include network connectivity services. This site does not provide, sell or recommend nodes or subscription services. This documentation assumes that you already have your own subscription or server details. Refer to the App Store listing and applicable transaction terms for current pricing, payment, refunds, device compatibility and purchase entitlements.
3. Lawful Use and User Responsibilities
You must comply with the laws and regulations where you are located and those applicable to your use. Do not use the app or this site's guidance for unlawful activity, to infringe others' rights, access network resources without permission or disrupt normal network operations. You must have the necessary authorization to access any network or server.
You are responsible for confirming that information you import comes from a lawful source and may be used as intended. Keep subscription links, server passwords and other sensitive information secure. Before sharing configurations, screenshots or logs, remove personal information and access credentials. Do not assume that someone else's configuration is public or may be freely shared.
4. Availability, Configuration and Liability
The app is sold through the App Store. This site's documentation does not replace the App Store's purchase terms or any applicable in-app terms. Network connections depend on factors such as your local network, server status, configuration and system environment. We do not guarantee the continued availability of this site, the app or services you already use, or that configuration examples will work on every device.
Before changing Config, DNS or other settings, keep a restorable copy. To the extent permitted by law, this site is not liable for connection issues or data loss caused by changes you make to configurations, leaked credentials, service interruptions or device failures. This limitation does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restrict your statutory consumer rights.
5. Intellectual Property and Use of Content
Intellectual property rights in the Shadowrocket trademark, app and related product materials belong to its developer or the respective rights holders. This site displays the official icon, interface terms and rule examples to identify the product and explain its use; no related rights are transferred to visitors.
When using original documentation from this site, comply with applicable laws and the rights holders' license terms. When making a reasonable quotation, credit the source and preserve its original meaning. Do not alter verification information, publish content while impersonating a rights holder, or present instructional examples as guarantees of service performance.
6. Changes to These Terms and Questions
We may revise these terms in response to legal requirements or changes to the site's features or documentation. The complete revised text will be posted on this page, and the month at the top of the page will be updated. Important changes to terms of use will be noted on relevant pages. Revisions apply from the date they are posted or from any later effective date stated, and will not retroactively diminish rights you have under applicable law.
If you have questions about operating requirements or the meaning of this documentation, first check the FAQ and user guide. Handle purchases and transactions through the relevant App Store process. When troubleshooting configuration issues, avoid publicly sharing a complete configuration that contains sensitive information.
